WoW 4.3: New Year's Celebration 2011-2012 By Mimiron My name is Stan, I am 19 years old. Currently I am studying at a University. I am the founder of the FB group which posted Cataclysm news since 8/23/09. I am playing WoW since the release of Burning Crusade. I like writing articles regarding Cataclysm. The most time I enjoyed playing was high-end TBC - Sunwell Plateau.

Another year of Warcraft is swiftly drawing to a close.

Countless of foes defeated, Azeroth is celebrating this festive moment in capital cities!

This is how the firework will look like at midnight.

Before that, players can get drunk or completely smashed at no cost, since tables with mugs and alcohol barrels are spawned directly in the capitals.

If you would like to buy some fireworks too, this is your ultimate chance. Each capital city has a vendor, who sells cheap ones. The vendor in the screenshot is located in Ironforge, his name is Wizbang Booms, what an obvious name, isn't it?

Quests

There is only a single quest given by the Wonderform Operators who are locatedat Dalaran, Orgrimmar and Undercity for The Horde and Dalaran, Stormwind and Ironforge for The Alliance.

It's simple, you just have to pick up near the Stormwind flight path (for the Alliance) - usually the quest giver is located at the gnome-transforming machine.

The quest is a simple turn-in, you drop of at the inn--Trade Center.

After completion you receive 62 reputation with either all Alliance or Horde factions.

There are no achievements whatosever for the New Year's participation.

Meanwhile in Booty Bay...

The goblin guards get smashed each year. Sleeping and not attacking PvP-ing players, Booty Bay is transformed into a Graveyard.

Wherever you decide to spend the last minutes of the year, make sure to enjoy it to the fullest!
