I am the founder of the FB group which posted Cataclysm news since 8/23/09. I am playing WoW since the release of Burning Crusade. I like writing articles regarding Cataclysm. The most time I enjoyed playing was high-end TBC - Sunwell Plateau.

With the introduction of Transmogrification, some unobtainable gear became once again available to players.

Arena III Sets

Are now purchasable with Honor Points. You need to have these items either in your inventory or somewhere in bank to be able to transmogrify your present gear into the Arena III Set Gear.

The items look similarly to the Tier 6 items, but if you look closer, you can see the difference.

On the left we can see a Tauren Priest in the Tier VI priest set and on the right the Arena III Set.

Not only the forgotten pieces of armor are for sale, but also the weapons (as you can see on the right).

Where to begin...

First of all go and farm some honor, because it's really worth it. Afterwards, visit the forgotten wastes of Outland.

To be perfectly precise, Area 52, in Netherstorm (where plenty of goblins reside)

Area 52, Netherstorm, the vendors are located in the closest building where pieces of wood stick from it in a round shape.

Here is the interior. Every vendor sells specific gear. Thus there are vendors who sell only Leather & Mail or Cloth items, weapons etc. The name of the mob is Kezzik the Striker. He sells all Vengeful, Merciless and Gladiator level gear.

Price of the items...

The price for pieces of gear is as follows. Gloves and Shoulders cost 1000 Honor Points, whereas Head, Leg and Chest armour is purchasable for 750 Honor Points.

Belt, Wrist and Feet Arena III Set items can be bought with tokens from Sunwell Plateau, so you have another reason to farm the old content. You can redeem these items on Isle of Quel'danas by Kayri.
